There
are many people who contribute to the operation and content of this website,
including:
Robert
Banks, Director & Dean of MCSI, studied at Sydney, London and
Cambridge Universities as well as Moore Theological College. He was the
first Lecturer in New Testament at Macquarie University, a Fellow of the
Zadok Centre in Canberra, and then founding Professor of Lay Ministry
at Fuller Theological Seminary and Executive Director of the De Pree Leadership
Centre, both in Los Angeles.
Robert has
had a lifelong connection with Inter Varsity Fellowship, ranging from
faculty advisor to Christian Unions, working with its U.S. Marketplace
Ministry Division, and as an author of several books for IVP.
His many
publications cover biblical studies, Christian lifestyle, community building,
and faith & work. Several of his books have been honored with Book
of the Year awards, most recently The Complete Book of Everyday Christianity.
He has also worked extensively among business people, filmmakers in Hollywood,
teachers, and senior people in government. Robert lectures in the following

DeAnn
Franklin has been with InterVarsity's Ministry In Daily Life department
for nine years, the last seven as administrator and assistant to Pete
Hammond. DeAnn is married and makes her home in Madison WI.
DeAnn writes
and edits materials for the IVMDL site, and communicates with site contributors
and the network of people who serve the "ministry in daily life"
vision.
Pete
Hammond is a senior staff member and vice president with InterVarsity
Christian Fellowship/USA and leader of its Ministry In Daily Life
Resource Group, formerly known as Marketplace®. He was a pioneer of
evangelism and ethnic ministries within InterVarsity and launched a ministry
to students headed for the secular marketplace. His work with Marketplace
resulted in numerous products aimed at graduating collegians and "marketplace
Christians." These have included ten years of hosting the national
"Marketplace Voices" daily radio program, and launching two
marketplace newsletters. He was also the initiator, team-leader and creative
developer of the award-winning Word in Life Study Bible, published by
Thomas Nelson Publishers. He has been on the leadership team of the Urbana®
Student Missions convention for 30 years. He is widely recognized as a
productive evangelist and effective lecturer. Mr. Hammond is active in
church renewal and the laity movement, and serves on the board of Christianity
Today. He is a Presbyterian Church (USA) elder. Pete earned his Bachelor
of Arts degree in Bible and philosophy in 1959 from Houghton College,
New York. He went on to receive a Master of Divinity degree in 1962 from
Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary in South Hamilton MA. Pete and his
wife Shirley live in Madison, WI and have three children and 9 grandchildren.

Paul Stevens'
primary focus in teaching and writing is equipping the whole people of
God for leadership. At Regent he reaches out to Christians who work in
the "marketplace," and offers courses, workshops, and conferences
aimed at helping people integrate Christianity into their everyday life.
He has taught and spoken at institutions all over the world, including
Tyndale Seminary in Toronto, the Centre for Interdisciplinary Studies
in Brazil, Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, and several schools
in Asia and in Kenya. He has authored numerous books, articles and Bible
study guides on topics such as ministry, marriage and Christian spirituality.
Paul has been a pastor, a carpenter and an Inter-Varsity staff worker.
He loves to take pictures, canoe and be with his wife Gail (pictured)
and their eight grandchildren.

Steve
Cook currently serves as Associate Minister at High Point Church in
Madison, Wisconsin. He also continues to serve as Web Manager of the Ministry
in Daily Life web-site. He spent 15 years with InterVarsity Christian
Fellowship, U.S.A., ministering with the 2100 Productions, Communications
and Development, and Marketplace Teams. In 1995, Steve along with Pete
Hammond and the other Marketplace staff launched the Ministry In Daily
Life web-site.
Steve is
married to Diann and they have two children, Matthew (16) and Michelle
(13). Favorite past-time activities include restoring and sailing old
sailboats and attending summer courses at Regent College in Vancouver,
British Columbia.
